Palm oil fractionation plant has three fractions: stearin (palm stearine), soft fat (palm olein) and middle section (palm mid-fraction). After palm oil fractionation, palm oil will be clean after 5.5 hours in 0℃ to ensure it can keep flow ability and transparency in the refrigerator and improve the quality and appearance of palm oil.


Palm Oil Dry Fractionation Plant is specialized in high yield of Olein and low yield of Stearin.

The crystallization process of stearin is done in our specially developed highly effective crystallizers. Our automated PLC for efficient working, result oriented and reliability of the dry fractionation plant.
 
Fractionation is the process where the crystallization of saturated triglyceride takes place in a mechanical equipment called the crystallizer. Crystallized oil is further passed through a filter where separation of solid and liquid phase takes place.

Solid phase remains in the chamber. Liquid phase comes out through the taps and is collected in the storage tank.
 
Entire process takes place in several steps which including: Oil heating, oil charging, and crystallization, filtration, squeezing and cleaning of filter.

Palm oil fractionation system is designed to process crude, pre-treated or RBD palm oil. The process is divided in few steps as below.

Palm oil fractionation technology adopts advanced palm oil processing technology of controlled cooling, crystallization, filtration and separation technology, obtaining palm oil with different melting points, like 33℃, 24℃, 18℃, 14 ℃,12℃,10℃,8℃,etc.
 
Palm oil fractionation is a kind of new oil processing technology.
- By using palm oil fractionation, the palm oil products of different melting points can be obtained, such as 8, 10, 14, 18, 24, 33, 44, 55 degree etc.

According to the carbon chain length of fatty a-cids, separate short carbon chain (C12), medium carbon chain (C14) and long carbon chain (C16, C18) by vacuum distillation, and then separate the saturated fatty a-cid from the unsaturated fatty a-cid. Owing to the little boiling point differences between them, they can't be fully separated and also will has high production cost.

Our company uses dry fractionation to separate the mixed fatty a-cids into various fatty a-cids of different melting point and application.
